Contenuti | Gli studenti saranno guidati verso le teorie, i modelli e i concetti che posso aiutarli a comprendere e a occuparsi della gestione delle imprese. Il corso offrirà agli studenti l’opportunità di far leva su alcune teorie e modelli per sviluppare una propria visione e delle proprie opinioni circa la disciplina del management. Il corso è anche pensato per fornire una più facile comprensione delle pratiche manageriali contemporanee. |

Obiettivi formativi | Gli obiettivi formativi sono declinabili attraverso i c.d. “descrittori di Dublino”: |
Prerequisiti | Conoscenze dei concetti generali di management. |
Metodologie didattiche | Il corso comprende lezioni frontali e seminari ed enfatizza un apprendimento attivo. Gli studenti sono incoraggiati a partecipare attivamente alle lezioni. Dagli studenti ci si aspetta la capacità di programmare i propri studi e di essere responsabili dei proprio percorso di studio (in merito alle letture assegnate). |
Metodi di valutazione | Gli studenti sono valutati singolarmente. L’esame è sia scritto che orale e il voto finale dipende da: un’attiva partecipazione in aula e un esame scritto e orale (individuale). |

Contents | Students will be introduced to theories, models and concepts that can support them in understanding and dealing with the management of firms. The course will provide an opportunity for students to leverage some theories and models in order to develop their own perspective and opinions regarding the discipline of management. The course is also designed to provide an easier understanding of contemporary ventures practices. |

Course objectives | Educational aims can be expressed through the so-called “Dublin descriptors”: |
Prerequisites | Knowledge of the general concepts of management. |
Teaching methods | The course includes lectures and seminars and emphasizes an active learning. Students are encouraged to participate actively during class sessions. Students are expected to plan and take responsibility for self-studies, including assigned readings. |
Evaluation methods | Students are evaluated individually. Examination is both oral and written and the final mark depends on: active participation in class and a written and an oral exam (individual). |
